Megan Thee Stallion e RM do BTS lançam música “Neva Play”

Megan Thee Stallion e RM, líder do BTS, marcaram esta sexta-feira (6), com lançamento da faixa “Neva Play” uma colaboração que mistura o estilo inconfundível do rap de Megan com a presença marcante de RM. Algumas horas após, a música já estava no topo do Itunes Brasil e do mundo.

O clipe traz uma estética de anime, tipo de obra que a rapper já referenciou em algumas ocasiões, entre elas em “Otaku Hot Girl”, que tem um sample da trilha sonora oficial de JUJUTSU KAISEN até a narração da introdução feita por Adam McArthur, o dublador no idioma inglês de Yuji Itadori.

Megan Thee Stallion e RM já haviam colaborado anteriormente no remix de “Butter”, do BTS, lançado em agosto de 2021. O remix alcançou a terceira posição na parada Global 200, consolidando o sucesso da parceria entre a rapper e o grupo. Durante a turnê do BTS, Megan foi convidada para se juntar ao grupo no palco e performar a música. Com “Neva Play”, eles afirmam que “nunca brincam” e enfatizam sua trajetória de sucesso.
